We are seeking P/T and F/T
ECE educators to join our team.
The successful candidates will have the following:
· Current ECE Certificate
· A Clean Criminal Record Check
· CPR and First Aid Certification
· Three references
· Record of Compliance with BC immunization program
· 1 year experience is an asset

o creating a climate of care, trust and respect by demonstrating appropriate guiding behaviours, taking steps to build partnerships, providing support and guidance, and encouraging open communication between all staff, children, parents, and community service providers
o plan age-appropriate, educational activities based on the Early Learning Framework, taking children on community-based field trips and providing opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
o guide and assist children in the development of healthy habits, including all aspects of their daily routines (eating, dressing, toileting, etc.), while maintaining their emotional well-being
o plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children, following the local licensing guidelines (sanitizing, maintaining equipment, being aware of medical information, knowledge of ratio requirements)
o proficient in Microsoft programs including Word and Excel (for parent communication and administrative duties)
o attend staff meetings to discuss program planning, children’s progress and upcoming activities
o help keep records for center administration (sign-in, fire drills etc.) and update/maintain children’s files
